Provide leadership and oversight for architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration.
Lead project teams in developing architectural design solutions aligned with client needs, budget, schedule, and project vision.
Coordinate and manage project documentation including drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables in accordance with industry standards.
Serve as document team leader responsible for defining documentation requirements and guiding project documentation workflows.
Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
Conduct code analysis and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.
Oversee preparation and coordination of construction documents and technical drawings.
Lead and participate in client meetings, consultant meetings, and project coordination discussions.
Provide technical guidance on material selection, design development, and constructability considerations.
Oversee quality control and quality assurance processes for design and documentation.
Manage documentation schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking.
Direct and mentor architectural staff and coordinate consultant contributions.
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration activities.
Support proposal development, business development efforts, and client presentations.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of record documents at project completion.
Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture required.
Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience required.
Professional Architect license required.
Strong experience in project leadership and supervisory roles required.
Advanced proficiency in Revit required.
Strong understanding of building codes, construction documentation, and architectural standards required.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams required.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills required.
Experience in construction administration including RFIs and shop drawing review preferred.
