Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing engaging curriculum and activities that promote the holistic development of children aged 3 to 5 years. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with parents, staff, and the community to ensure each child receives the best possible educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Educate children in foundational skills across various subjects, including math, literacy, and social-emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Provide individualized support for children with special education needs or those requiring additional assistance.
- Organize and participate in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Experience
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for young learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support for children is a plus.
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial but not required.
