Braingineers Lab is accepting applications for After-School Program Educational Assistant. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 6:00 pm.
Braingineers Lab is looking for a responsible, energetic, motivated, and passionate After-School Program Educational Assistant who wants to make a difference and join our team. The successful candidate must be highly organized, creative, adaptable to work with different age groups of students, and be able to multitask. The best candidates will have previous experience working with kids within elementary and middle school grades (no teaching license is required), a love for working and inspiring kids, a valid driver's license, a very good driving record, and excellent driving skills. Successful candidates will have to undergo a drug test, a background check, and will be required to be fingerprinted.

After-School Program Assistant responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging activities for After-School students and for Summer Camps
- Transport students safely from school to our facility (no CDL required)
- Work with different elementary age students
- Supervise, guide, and assist students with snacks, projects, help students with homework, afterschool and summer camp activities
- Maintain an orderly space and ensure the safety of the students at all times
- Clean and organize the student's working area before and after the students
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude with students, parents, and staff
- Maintain an inventory and proper storage of snacks and materials for workshops and camps
- Assist Afterschool and Camp mentors during workshops
- Create a positive environment that cultivates creativity, cooperation, and interaction between kids by following the recommended safety guidelines
- Comply with all procedures, guidelines, and policies of Braingineers Lab at all times
Skills:
-Experienced Driver with a valid driver’s license
-A clean driving record is a must
-Excellent driving skills
-Detail-oriented and able to follow written and/or oral instructions
-Flexible, friendly, and good at establishing and following procedures
-Able to communicate effectively with other personnel and faculty
-Able to cultivate relationships with kids in a brief time period
-Confidence and capability in giving directions
-Willing and able to work in unexpected situations
-First Aid training will be a plus
Minimum Qualifications: pass medical exam, drug test, background check, and fingerprint.
