Our Field Service team provides hands-on technical support for industrial installation, maintenance, and equipment service projects. We are looking for an experienced leader who understands the demands of field work, is passionate about developing people, and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality solutions for our customers.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced millwright and proven leader to manage our growing Field Service team. In this role, you'll manage field operations, oversee the successful execution of industrial installation, maintenance, and service projects, and serve as the primary technical resource for customers.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating field technicians, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with company leadership to support field operations, execute company priorities and grow our Field Service department.
- Make safety the top priority by ensuring field teams follow company policies and safe work practices.
- Provide technical expertise and hands-on support for complex industrial installation, maintenance, rigging, and machinery-related projects.
- Serve as the technical resource for customers, helping solve problems and support field work.
- Visit customer sites regularly to support teams, resolve challenges, and assist with field work when needed.
- Lead, coach, and develop field service technicians while promoting a culture of safety, accountability and teamwork.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales teams, project teams, and internal departments.
- Work with the Field Service Coordinator to make sure crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors are ready for each project.
- Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and job performance to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to company standards.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, performance development, and the development of future field leaders.
- Oversee company vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure field teams have the resources needed to succeed.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Extensive millwright experience with industrial installation, maintenance, or equipment relocation projects.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Previous experience leading or supervising millwrights, technicians, installers, or industrial field teams.
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment installation, machinery alignment, rigging, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting field teams and customers.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to travel to customer locations.
Schedule & Travel Expectations
- Full-time position with combination of field and office responsibilities.
- Regular travel to customer sites to support field teams and projects.
- Occasional overnight travel, extended hours, and weekend work as business needs require.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in active industrial environments and manufacturing facilities.
- Ability to climb, kneel, bend, and work around industrial equipment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
