We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated caregivers to join our team at an assisted living community in Wheeling, IL. If you're passionate about helping seniors maintain their dignity, comfort, and independence while making a meaningful impact every day, we'd love to hear from you!
As a Caregiver, you'll provide hands-on support to multiple residents throughout your shift, delivering personalized care based on each resident's individual needs.
We offer flexible scheduling based on resident care needs and caregiver availability.
Morning Shifts
Start times as early as 6:30 AM, 6:45 AM, or 7:00 AM
End times vary based on resident care needs and may range from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Client-to-Client Short Assignments
Provide care to multiple residents throughout your shift within the assisted living community
Short resident assignments that vary based on individual care needs
Opportunity to build consistent hours while supporting several residents during your shift
Weekday & Weekend Opportunities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
Support residents with mobility, transfers, gait belts, and Hoyer lifts, as needed
Encourage resident engagement through conversation and activities
Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while providing compassionate care
At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
Authorized to work in the United States
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Ability to safely lift and assist residents with mobility and transfers
Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional care
