We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. <Duties>
- Process and verify all incoming invoices using accounting software Microsoft Dynamics.
- Perform account reconciliations for accounts payable transactions, resolving discrepancies promptly to maintain data integrity
- Prepare and record journal entries related to accounts payable activities, including accruals and adjustments.
- Manage vendor setup, updates, and maintenance within systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments account specialist.
- Conduct thorough analysis of accounts payable aging reports to optimize cash flow and prevent late payments
- Assist with month-end closing procedures by reconciling general ledger accounts related to payables and preparing detailed reports for management
<Requirements>
- Proven experience in accounts payable functions within an accounting environment, with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits and double entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
