Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and workplace audits to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations.
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed report writing to prevent future occurrences.
- Coordinate safety training sessions including CPR, First Aid, OSHA compliance training, and environmental management systems education for all employees.
- Monitor workplace safety practices, enforce safety regulations, and promote employee health through regulatory compliance standards in production environments.
- Manage environmental health initiatives by ensuring adherence to EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) standards and environmental regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training activities, inspection reports, and compliance documentation for regulatory audits.
Qualifications
- Open to entry level candidates with the right attitude.
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, OSHA safety regulations, and environmental management systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and environmental health standards required for manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation law and occupational health expertise to support employee well-being initiatives.
- Strong report writing skills combined with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering training & development programs and fostering a culture of safety awareness.
- Ability to interpret regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments and implement necessary procedures accordingly.
