St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Nutrition Clerk. The Nutrition Clerk, under the direction of the Director, Patient Menu Services or designee, assist patient when making regular and modified diets selections. Assist with all clerical work related to patient menu care.
Requirements:
EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED. Office and/or food and nutrition classes preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Previous diet office experience desired. Computer Skills required.
SKILLS: Good interpersonal skills desirable. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions. They must have the ability to do computer calculations and computations. Must also have thorough knowledge of ingredients of foods prepared for patients and be able to describe to them each menu item, if necessary. Also, must be able to identify the correct foods for each major diet.
