**Requirement: Previous urology experience required.**
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns professionally and respectfully.
- Assist healthcare providers with various clinical tasks, including medication administration, inpatient care, and emergency medicine support.
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, taking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
- Assist with coding and billing procedures, ensuring accurate and timely submission of patient data.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing medical records.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous urology experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting certification or associate's degree in a medical field Required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency with medical coding and billing procedures.
- Experience working in a clinic or inpatient setting, with a focus on emergency medicine or inpatient care.
- Ability to administer medications and perform other medical procedures safely and effectively.
- Excellent patient service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Basic knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
