West Penn Manufacturing Technologies is a small business looking for a qualified candidate for welding. We are a job shop so every day will be something different. Most of the job will be small weldments, some will be very large weldments.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and weld assemblies
- Maintain organized workstation
- Coordinate with supervisors for gas and consumable needs
Necessary requirements:
- GMAW (Mig) welding experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lb on a daily basis
- Some manufacturing or job shop experience
- Must be able to read drawings and tolerances
- Knowledge of measurement equipment such as calipers and tape measure
- Problem solving skills and desire to learn new processes
Position will be first shift Monday-Thursday, with occasional overtime and work on Friday as needed.
