Kappus Company is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team! This position plays a key role in supporting our technicians and ensuring efficient service operations. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with technical experience in commercial food service equipment who is looking to transition from a field service role into a dispatching and operations support position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to technicians’ calls and questions, providing necessary information and support
- Send and distribute parts to technicians as needed to ensure timely repairs
- Assist in managing the preventive maintenance schedule for customers
- Write purchase orders and enter service rewrites to maintain accurate records
- Manage service estimates and prepare quotes for service jobs
- Act as back-up support to Customer Service Representatives and fellow Dispatchers as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Technical knowledge of commercial food service equipment preferred
- Previous field service or dispatch experience is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software
