ATX Float is a fast-growing outdoor lifestyle brand supplying river tubes, dry bags, waterproof gear, and ice cream to river outfitters, marinas, waterparks, and retailers across Central Texas. If you’ve floated the rivers in San Marcos or New Braunfels, you’ve seen our products.
We’re hiring a Territory Sales & Merchandising Representative to manage a Central Texas route during the summer season. This role blends sales, customer service, merchandising, and delivery — all supported by a company van and iPad. Strong performance may lead to a year-round full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) sales position covering a weekly route across Central Texas. You will manage customer relationships, write orders, deliver product, merchandise displays, and support warehouse operations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Visit accounts weekly and build strong customer relationships
- Present new products and drive incremental sales
- Review inventory and write replenishment orders
- Deliver product across Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels, the Frio River area, and surrounding Central Texas
- Set up and maintain clean, organized retail displays
- Capture photos for internal reporting and social content
- Assist with warehouse tasks including loading, organizing, and inventory counts
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ years of sales experience preferred
- Strong people skills and confidence in customer-facing roles
- Ability to lift boxes and work in a delivery/warehouse environment
- Clean driving record
- Must live in Central Texas (warehouse in Kyle)
- High school diploma or equivalent
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
- $35/hr. base pay
- Performance bonuses in July and September based on call coverage and KPI achievement
- Paid time off
- Company provided van + iPad
- Tuesday–Saturday during peak season
- Seasonal summer role with potential to transition to full-time, year-round
