Job Description
As a part-time Field Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of part-time employees (Professors) and ensuring that they have the support and resources they need to deliver our programs to students in our Vallejo territory as well the areas of Sacramento and San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for performing in-classroom evaluations, providing constructive feedback and remediation, handling material emergencies (drop-offs/pick-ups), providing in-person training for new Professors and when necessary, stepping in for substitute coverage. Additional responsibilities include working with the Scheduling Coordinator to identify any issues within the field and implementing solutions as a team.
During the Summer hours your responsibilities shift, as we shift gears into our summer camps. You will own the summer camp training for the Professors in your territory as well manage the camps while they are running. You will be the main point of contact between the camp staff and the office staff ensuring that the camps run smoothly and safely!
You will work closely with our scheduling team and other members of our small and passionate organization to ensure that our programs run smoothly. You will have approximately 10-15 part-time Professors you manage and support. A high level of independence is required. Candidates must be able to set their own schedules, update information in our database as necessary, and work proactively without constant supervision. This role requires general availability of Monday through Friday between the hours of 1:00 - 5:00 pm. This position offers a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate and offer constructive feedback to our Professors
- Distribute materials to Professors at school sites as needed
- Coordinate material drop-offs and pickups
- Act as a Substitute when needed
- Help Professors with classroom management and curriculum issues
- Work with the Scheduling Coordinator to ensure smooth programming each week
- Host community events and foster a sense of community
- Train and welcome new Professors
- Create and administer support plans for struggling Professors
- Provide additional trainings and workshops for Professors
- Connect with Training Department to ensure alignment
- Research new classroom management and teaching techniques
- Provide admin support to Schedulers
- Connect with clients and provide in-person presence on-site
- Monitor Quo and assist Professors with classroom and curriculum questions

Benefits
- Gas Reimbursement Rate: 0.70 cents per mile. All work-related travel mileage is documented and submitted weekly for reimbursement quarterly.
