We are currently seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team in Rowlett, Texas.
Position Summary
The HSE manager is responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems to reduce risk and prevent injuries while ensuring full regulatory compliance. This role works closely with plant leadership and employees to promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety, health, and environmental programs in a manufacturing environment
- Serve as the site’s ISO 14001 environmental representative
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations
- Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions
- Manage OSHA recordkeeping, reporting, and monthly updates
- Conduct hazard analyses, risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses, and workplace inspections
- Develop and deliver safety training for new hires, supervisors, and managers
- Support industrial hygiene activities and safety initiatives
- Investigate incidents and track trends to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, HR, and corporate teams on safety matters
- Support workers’ compensation processes in coordination with HR
- Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and safety improvement programs
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement required updates
- Promote employee engagement in safety programs and best practices
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S
