Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards and health regulations
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Develop beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate stock shortages promptly
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by verifying guest IDs and managing intoxication levels effectively
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, and craft beer styles
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours while maintaining excellent customer service
- Experience with food handling, food safety standards, catering events, banquet service, and retail math is highly desirable
- Prior bar management or serving experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management are necessary
