Socorro Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our growing team. What You'll Do
As a Floor Nurse, you will:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
- Perform comprehensive resident assessments and promptly report changes in condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy according to physician orders and facility policy.
- Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident responses in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional resident outcomes.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Respond quickly and appropriately to resident emergencies.
- Promote infection prevention, resident safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain a positive, compassionate, and professional attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers.
Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
