Now Hiring: Barista/Food Prep Team Members
Location: Off South Street, Philadelphia 19146
We’re looking for experienced baristas/food preparation team members to join our crew.
Our team works together in all aspects of day-to-day café operations, from crafting quality beverages and using the coffee machinery, to running the POS, rotating with other baristas to work in the kitchen, bussing tables, running the dishwasher, and keeping our space welcoming and organized. If you’re a great communicator, a reliable teammate, and love connecting with people, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with care and consistency
- Operate the POS system to take and process orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly, attentive service to every customer
- Handle cash transactions and practice basic retail math
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Willing to also work in the kitchen doing food prep
- Keep the café clean, organized, and stocked by monitoring inventory and performing routine upkeep
What We're Looking For
- Prior barista and/or food service experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling (or willingness to learn)
- Solid time management skills, especially during busy rushes
- Basic knowledge of food safety and proper handling techniques
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends
- We are open weekdays from 6-2, weekends 8-3. We need people who can either work full day shifts, or partial shifts
