Job Responsibilities
Van Drivers / Youth Counselors transport children to and from school daily. 7am-9:30am and 1:30pm-4:30pm. Help to ensure that the West End Community Center is a safe and fun place for youth to be before and after school. Youth Counselors are responsible for mentoring youth and role modeling positive interactions with the community at large. When driving the primarily responsibility is keeping youth safe while transporting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid chauffeur’s driver’s license and clean driving record ( must be accepted by agency insurance company )
- Experience working with School-age Youth
- Ability to work well as part of a diverse team of people
- Experience with persons from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and Child Protective Services background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
