Chef Instructor - Culinary Summer Program
campusSF is a co-ed, residential summer culinary program for high school students who are very passionate about cooking. We are looking for a person to be the ultimate boss of the kitchen, the students and chef instructors. Our ideal candidate is a leader and can command a classroom or kitchen easily. We want to hire a person who is ready to work as a team, support the other chefs and students, and have fun!
We need someone high energy, who likes working with students, and is very organized to teach young minds the fun culinary and pastry worlds!
This is not a year-round job or available immediately. It is just for the dates below. If you are looking for full-time work now, this may not be for you. We are looking for someone who lives in the SF area.
You will work directly with our staff ahead of time to go over the curriculum, which is our own proprietary curriculum and to get to know the students and to make the first supply order.
Getting in kitchen:
We have access to the kitchen to train and set up starting the Saturday before the program begins, so that is when you will meet with your chef instructors and go over everything you will have them do. You’ll be working the days preceding that on an as-needed basis, that we will work out with you, and that you get paid for as well. You’ll be able to go to the kitchen and see it and work with the hosts before that Saturday as well.
