5280 High School is seeking a dependable, dedicated, and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency. Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience is highly valued. Duties:

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all areas of the facility

Maintain floors through mopping, vacuuming, etc.

Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met

Conduct industrial cleaning as needed, including equipment sanitation and high dusting

Assist with custodial responsibilities such as window washing and light maintenance tasks
-
Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs or reporting issues for further action

Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored

Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or hazards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Must be versatile to the varying demands of the needs with 5280 Recovery High School

Must be able to deal with students, employees, and citizens of the community in a friendly and tactful manner

Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles preferred; experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus

Knowledge of floor care techniques preferred

Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in residential, commercial, or industrial settings

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards

Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently

Ability to work independently
