Summary
Atlas Staffing is hiring a Production Lead for a growing manufacturing company in Liberty Lake, Washington. This position supports the Production department by providing daily leadership for light assembly teams, with a strong focus on quality, training, materials, safety, and production schedules.
Role Purpose
The Production Lead keeps assigned work areas organized, productive, and properly supported. This person works closely with operators, supervisors, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Planning to resolve barriers and keep production moving.
Responsibilities

Coordinate daily priorities, workflow, staffing, materials, and production documentation
*
Assign employees to jobs and workstations based on production needs
*
Communicate schedule changes, priorities, material needs, and production status
*
Review work orders, drawings, bills of material, and written procedures
*
Train new employees and cross train current employees on assembly processes, quality standards, safety expectations, and documentation
*
Verify training effectiveness and communicate additional training needs to the supervisor
*
Coach employees on safe work practices, quality, productivity, and professional communication
*
Complete and document first piece inspections, process checks, and quality verification activities
*
Escalate quality concerns to the supervisor, Quality, or Engineering
*
Track employee time, job status, and production activity through an ERP system
*
Maintain accurate training, production, quality, and administrative records
*
Monitor material availability and coordinate with supporting departments to obtain materials and tools
*
Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to clarify work instructions and improve processes
*
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S manufacturing practices
*
Operate material handling equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck when needed
Qualifications
*
Previous manufacturing or operations experience required
*
Previous leadership, training, or informal lead experience strongly preferred
*
Ability to read work orders, drawings, bills of material, production documents, quality requirements, and written procedures
*
Experience tracking production activity, employee time, job status, or material needs preferred
*
Comfortable using computers, email, and internet tools
*
ERP system experience strongly preferred
*
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
*
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
*
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
*
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and work with small components
*
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 15 pounds, with some assignments requiring lifting up to 75 pounds
*
Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment, moderate noise, moving parts, airborne particles, industrial chemicals, vibration, and radiant heat
Pay
*
$21.50 to $22.50 per hour

Monday through Friday

6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
