Join our Team!! CCCS Inc and the START/STEP Program located in Anaconda, MT are currently looking for a Clinical Treatment Supervisor.
The Clinical Treatment Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight of all treatment programming and case management services provided to clients of the START/STEP Program. The Clinical Treatment Supervisor will monitor all aspects of participation in CCCS, Inc. programs and serve as a liaison with the MDOC on issues related to resident programming and length of stay. The goal of the Clinical Treatment Supervisor is to ensure clients adhere to program and societal rules while establishing a release plan supporting a crime free lifestyle.
Essential Functions:
1. Attends and facilitates weekly clinical staffing for all levels of care within treatment programming; including case management and the Assessment Center.
2. Develops and maintains policy and procedures for all treatment programming and case management.
3. Provides weekly supervision meetings to the clinical staff under supervision.
4. Maintains involvement in the overall Clinical Supervision of all trainees placed within START/STEP.
5. Responsible for staying abreast of any legislative changes affecting treatment programming which may include active participation within coalitions within the field of Addiction Counseling.
6. Meets with the Administrator weekly providing verbal and written reports as required.
7. Responsible for over all case planning of treatment services within the facility which includes referrals to in house, as well as community based programming.
8. Attends and participates actively in the screening of clients.
9. In times of work load increases or employee shortages; performs the essential functions of a Licensed Addictions Counselor including individual and group counseling, assessments, intakes and all appropriate documentation.
10. Administers treatment screening processes. Administration of screening process includes determining the suitability of resident for placement in treatment programs based on mental health programming needs and assessment tools as well as the suitability of resident for placement in educational or vocational educational programming based on the results of aptitude testing.
11. Conducts resident orientation and reviews intake paperwork.
12. Prepares out processing paperwork.
13. Prepares conditional release documentation.
14. Processes phase change requests to include applicable phase ratings.
15. Responds to in-house kites submitted regarding treatment issues.
16. Responds to grievances involving subordinate staff.
17. Completes group participation reports, maintains attendance records and documentation of sessions.
18. Develops, monitors and maintains standards for programming.
19. Develops and maintains standards for referrals to appropriate after-care providers.
20. Provides quality assurance audits on all documents, forms, group activities and paperwork determined by appropriate personnel and corporate policy, including but not limited to Treatment Plans, Vocational/Education Plans, Progress Notes, Group Notes, Discharge Summaries, Parole Reports, After-Care Plans and, Staffing Notes.
21. Works with staff to collect and maintain program statistical information as required.
22. Works with Program Administrator to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required by Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Board of Directors, contractual obligations, accreditation and certification standards, and CCCS, Inc. corporate policy.
23. Works closely with other agencies to plan for smooth after-care transitions upon release from the START/STEP Program.
24. Reviews and approves work schedules and timesheets for subordinate staff.
25. Conducts performance reviews and makes employee status recommendations for subordinate staff.
26. Provides staff training and in-service development as directed.
27. Maintains all required program records and manages file materials within the limits of confidentiality requirements.
28. Performs related duties as assigned.
29. Provides Clinical Supervision to supervisees in accordance with facility procedures.
30. Conducts at least bi-weekly clinical staff meetings.
31. Disseminates clinically related literature to appropriate staff
32. Demonstrates knowledge & responsibility in performance of duties as prescribed by facility procedures. Has an understanding of the addiction process.
33. Understands and applies EBP in daily duties (reinforces, post monitoring, social learning theory and cognitive behavioral therapy.)
34. Ensures all clinical staff has a minimum of 40 hours of treatment related training.
35. Works well under pressure and maintains self-control.
36. Motivates and works well with residents.
37. Receptive to change and new ideas.
38. Is receptive to clinical supervision and demonstrates an ability to apply and master clinical supervision recommendations.
Other Job Functions:
All other duties as assigned by the Program Administrator.
Required Annual Training:
Employees new to CCCS, Inc. are required to complete at least forty (40) hours of training relevant to their position during the first year of employment.
Clinical Treatment Supervisors are required to complete at least sixty (60) hours of training during every two years of employment. A minimum of twenty (20) of the hours must include training specific to Clinical Supervision as mandated by the State of Montana.
Additional training hours may be required for disciplinary, emergency, or program-need reasons as determined by the Program Administrator.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions require resilience, the ability to deal with stressful situations such as verbal confrontations with residents, ability to act quickly to de-escalate potentially explosive situations.
Though rare, the possibility of physical aggression must be anticipated. Mental alertness as to be able to handle any incident with minimal physical force necessary to defend oneself, others, and property is necessary.
Approximately 90% of work is spent inside in a climate-controlled environment with background noise. Approximately 10% of work is spent outside, in vehicles, or in other buildings, etc. Local and statewide travel may be required.
The Clinical Treatment Supervisor will work five (5), eight (8) hour shifts per week. Clinical Treatment Supervisors may be required to work any shift including day, afternoon or graveyard.
Considerable documentation and paperwork requirements exist. The Clinical Treatment
Supervisor must be able to organize and manage time effectively and keep records orderly and up to date. Computer skills are necessary.

Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
: Approximately 40% of time is spent standing or moving around working areas and outside locations. Balance of time (approximately 60%) is spent seated while working at a desk or in meetings.
: Clear diction and acute hearing are necessary with the public, contacts, and co-workers.
: Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary for effective use of computer screens.
: Good manual dexterity for computer keyboard use and the ability to retrieve and work with appropriate paperwork, equipment, and supplies. Good physical condition for possible defense of oneself, others, or property at CCCS, Inc. facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences or appropriate Behavioral Science field and five years experience in a Social Services Counseling or Case Management position.
2. Licensed as a Clinical Supervisor through the Montana Board of Addiction Counselor Examiners.
3. Two years supervisory experience.
4. Must have the ability to relate with residents in a firm, empathetic fashion.
5. Must have experience and demonstration ability in records management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with adult offenders and/or experience working in a residential treatment facility.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
