Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues effectively and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Apply electrical experience to diagnose and resolve electrical issues within the facility.
- Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and repair requirements.
- Oversee maintenance operations, providing leadership and supervising junior staff when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with operational standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong mechanical background.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and manuals.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a MUST, enhancing understanding of equipment needs.
