We opened just over two years ago and are looking for a hygienist to join our team anywhere from 1-3 days a week!

Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and calculus buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental charts to ensure accurate treatment planning.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
- Assist with chairside procedures such as applying fluoride treatments, sealants, and SDF.
- Manage patient records with precision using electronic medical record (EMR) system - a cloud based program called Curve Hero.
- Monitor infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and maintaining sterilization of instruments to uphold the highest standards of safety.
- Collaborate with dentist and other team members in providing four-handed dentistry for efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials.
- Proven experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental clinics with familiarity in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices, medical imaging, vital signs measurement, and medical coding procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively about dental health topics to diverse populations including pediatrics.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and documentation review processes.

Pay: $47.00 - $55.00 per hour
