Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, adhering to food safety standards and dietary guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to elevate guest satisfaction.
- Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food production, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Manage shift operations efficiently by coordinating team members, overseeing food handling procedures, and ensuring timely service.
- Support the training and mentorship of junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate inventory management records, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
- Enforce food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments or similar high-end food service environments.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a culinary setting.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and presentation techniques.
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience working with dietary departments is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen operations management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse culinary team.
- Experience in catering, banquet services, or large-scale event food preparation is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
