Job Summary
Schedule: 3-5 days per week, including weekdays, weekends, potentially holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Bartender / Sales Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in providing an exceptional experience for our golfers and guests. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable handling a variety of customer service and sales responsibilities. Minimum wage to start, plus the oppertunity to make tips!
Because alcohol sales and bartending duties are part of this position, applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist golfers and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Schedule and manage tee times using our system
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate information regarding course operations, rates, and events
- Process customer purchases and payments through the point-of-sale system
- Assist customers at the driving range, including range ball sales and customer support
- Serve beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and state regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked area
- Promote golf shop merchandise and course amenities
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns when necessary
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, golf course, or bartending experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable handling cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Dependable and punctual
- Open availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
