As a Grill Sandwich Maker at Baggin's Gourmet Sandwiches, you will be responsible for preparing and grilling a variety of gourmet sandwiches to order, ensuring both quality and presentation meet our high standards. This role requires a love for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare and grill sandwiches according to Baggin's unique recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including grill and prep stations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and ensure timely order delivery.
- Assist with inventory control, including monitoring stock levels and communicating needs to management.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Support other kitchen staff as needed, including prep work and cleaning duties.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation setting preferred, but not required.
- Passion for food and a keen interest in sandwich-making techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is a plus.
