Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate trade contractors, enforce safety and compliance, manage daily logistics, and communicate progress to project leadership and clients. This role requires strong leadership, field experience, and the ability to solve problems in commercial, manufacturing, and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and per contract documents.

Coordinate, schedule, and direct subcontractors, trades, and site personnel to meet project milestones and maintain productivity.

Enforce and promote a strong safety culture; implement site safety plans, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Review plans, specifications, and drawings to verify scope and resolve field discrepancies with project managers and engineers.

Monitor quality control, perform inspections, and address non-conforming work promptly to maintain project standards.

Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation including labor, materials, equipment, and progress photos.

Manage site logistics and sequencing for deliveries, temporary utilities, site access, and equipment placement to optimize workflow.

Communicate regularly with project leadership, owners, and stakeholders to report progress, risks, and schedule changes.

Support procurement and materials management by identifying long-lead items, tracking deliveries, and minimizing downtime.

Lead and mentor field crews, provide direction on task execution, and resolve personnel or performance issues as needed.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role (typically 5+ years preferred).

Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, coordinate multiple trades, and manage on-site construction operations.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, quality control, and safety regulations.

Mandatory field skill: Superintendent-level experience managing projects and crews.

Nice to have: experience in commercial, manufacturing, or industrial project environments.

Nice to have: OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain it promptly.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFIs.

Proficient with construction management tools and software (e.g., scheduling software, Procore, MS Office).

Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to work on-site and travel between locations as required.

Physical ability to work in construction environments, including lifting, climbing, and extended periods outdoors.
