Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick turnaround times
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments via POS systems like Micros, and manage tabs efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; assist with food handling and bussing as needed
- Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address inquiries promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or upscale settings
- Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; experience with Square is a plus for processing payments
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience with cocktail making or beverage presentation enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service
