Mako Industries is seeking experienced Welders with strong GTAW (TIG) skills for offshore and shop/field work.
Candidates must be able to pass a 6G weld test and meet offshore travel and safety requirements.
Responsibilities

Perform high-quality GTAW/TIG welding on pipe (Buttwelds and Socket welds) and structural components
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, and fabrication drawings
- Complete welds according to company and client specifications
- Maintain safe work practices in shop, field, and offshore environments
- Inspect finished welds for quality and compliance
- Work with fabrication and field crews to complete projects on schedule
- Proficient in GTAW/TIG welding
- Must be able to pass a 6G welding test
- Previous pipe welding experience preferred
- Must be eligible and physically able to travel and work offshore
- Ability to work overtime and travel as needed
- Familiarity with offshore safety procedures is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with stainless, carbon steel, and/or exotic materials
- TWIC card, OSHA, Safeland, HUET, or other offshore certifications preferred
