Duties
- Wash, dry, and fold salon linens, towels, capes, and other fabric items efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by regularly sanitizing laundry equipment and work areas
- Sort laundry according to color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage
- Ensure all laundry is properly stored in designated areas for easy access by staff
- Assist with light cleaning duties around the salon to uphold a tidy workspace
- Follow proper procedures for handling delicate or specialty items such as dry cleaning when necessary
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
Skills
- Experience with laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques suitable for salon environments
- Familiarity with dry cleaning procedures is a plus
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous due to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure all items meet hygiene standards before being returned to service
