Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across all areas, ensuring adherence to established standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain high-quality custodial standards for both routine cleaning and specialized tasks.
- Schedule shifts efficiently to meet operational needs while optimizing team productivity.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.
- Address guest or staff concerns promptly, resolving issues related to cleanliness or service delivery with professionalism.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to protect staff and visitors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience in a housekeeping or custodial environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively train staff and interact with guests or team members.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy supplies, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
