Kill Crew is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer apparel brand looking for an exceptional Director of Business Operations to build the systems, accountability, and operational discipline needed to scale the company.
This is not an administrative or coordinator role.
You will work directly with the founder and own how the company operates day-to-day. Your mission is to build and continuously improve the company’s operating system, ensuring every department executes efficiently, projects stay on track, teams remain accountable, and the business scales without chaos.

ResponsibilitiesCompany Operating System
- Own and manage the company’s operating system using ClickUp, Asana, or similar software.
- Build, organize, and continuously improve workflows across every department.
- Create, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure company processes are scalable, efficient, and consistently followed.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement long-term solutions.
- Continuously audit company systems and improve how work flows throughout the organization.
Project Management & Execution
- Own company-wide project management.
- Ensure every project has a clear owner, deadline, priority, and status.
- Coordinate projects across marketing, creative, product development, operations, customer service, inventory, and leadership.
- Keep initiatives moving by proactively following up with team members and removing roadblocks.
- Maintain complete visibility into company priorities and execution.
Accountability & Performance
- Hold department leaders and team members accountable for deadlines, deliverables, and commitments.
- Ensure all work is properly tracked and managed inside ClickUp (or equivalent).
- Monitor KPIs, goals, and operational performance across departments.
- Identify issues early and drive corrective action before they become larger problems.
- Build dashboards and reporting systems that provide leadership with real-time visibility into company performance.
Meetings & Communication
- Own the company’s meeting cadence and scheduling.
- Prepare meeting agendas and ensure meetings stay focused and productive.
- Capture action items, assign ownership, and follow up until completion.
- Improve communication between departments to eliminate confusion, delays, and duplicated work.
Continuous Improvement
- Regularly audit every department for inefficiencies and opportunities to improve.
- Recommend and implement better workflows, automations, and operational processes.
- Introduce new tools and systems when they create measurable improvements.
- Foster a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous operational improvement.
Leadership
- Work directly with the founder on strategic initiatives.
- Translate high-level goals into clear execution plans.
- Build structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Help scale the business from a founder-led company into a highly efficient organization.
QualificationsRequired
- 5+ years of operations, business operations, project management, or similar leadership experience.
- Experience working in a DTC e-commerce, consumer products, or apparel company.
- Strong experience building systems, workflows, and SOPs.
- Experience managing projects across multiple departments.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- High ownership mentality with the ability to solve problems independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred
- Shopify experience.
- Apparel or fashion industry experience.
- Inventory planning and supply chain experience.
- Experience scaling businesses from seven figures to eight figures or beyond.
- Advanced experience with ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Notion, EOS, or similar operating systems.
- Experience building operational dashboards and KPI reporting.

- Every project has a clear owner, deadline, and status.
- Department leaders consistently hit deadlines and KPIs.
- SOPs are documented, maintained, and followed across the company.
- Meetings consistently result in action and execution.
- Operational bottlenecks are identified and eliminated before they impact growth.
- Communication between departments becomes clear, consistent, and efficient.
- The company operates through systems rather than constant founder involvement.
- The founder spends significantly less time managing day-to-day operations and more time focused on growth and strategy.

Pay: $98,492.95 - $156,464.63 per year
