Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) | 10-hour shifts | Variable weekend on-call rotation as required
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique

Prepare and maintain operating rooms with the instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for each procedure

Monitor and maintain inventory levels of surgical instruments and supplies
-
Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments in accordance with infection control and hospital safety standards

Handle medications under the direct supervision of the surgeon or registered nurse
-
Participate in department meetings, ongoing training, and performance improvement initiatives
-
Foster a collaborative, patient-focused surgical environment committed to quality care
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience or Surgical Technologist certification
-
Ability to independently scrub a variety of surgical specialties
-
High school diploma or GED preferred
-
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
-
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of orthopedic and spine care best practices, including:

Musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology
