LECOM Medical Center and Behavioral Health Pavilion, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is currently seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Full- Time Human Resources Talent Acquisition Specialist. This position is a key contributor in identifying talented applicants and promoting our growing organization.
SUMMARY: Leads the Human Resources Department in the recruitment for open positions. Will be responsible for development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work with other HR staff and department managers to facilitate new employee on-boarding in a timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the development and execution of recruiting and interviewing plan for open position.
2. Foster relationships with colleges, associations, professional groups and other potential referral sources
3. Efficiency and effectively fill open positions
4. Conduct regular meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of current recruiting plans and implementation new recruitment strategies
5. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
6. Measure and report to HR manager on KPIs related to the recruitment process
7. Post openings on various job boards and manage postings
8. Maintain good records during all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
9. Improve the hospital’s online presence to assist in recruiting
10. Give presentations and attend job fairs/conduct open interview sessions
11. Represent the Hospital with professional and courteous customer service.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirements: Post high school education and related HR work experience preferred
Minimum Experience: Related previous experience in healthcare Human Resources preferred.
English Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak the English Language in an understandable manner.
Physical Demands: Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability. Must be able to lift up to and in excess of 25 pounds throughout the workday. Sit, Stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours.
