Maintenance Assistant / Floor Tech
Country Club Rehab and Care – Warrensburg, MO
Country Club Rehab and Care is looking for a Maintenance Assistant / Floor Tech to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our residents and staff. This dual role supports both building maintenance and floor care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include:
General building maintenance and repairs (doors, lights, paint patching, basic plumbing and electrical)
Support of HVAC, security, fire, life safety, electrical, and generator systems
Assist with NFPA and Life Safety compliance and routine maintenance scheduling
Daily floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, buffing, and cleaning walls, doors, and baseboards
Maintain exterior entrances and surrounding areas
Follow all safety and infection control procedures
Report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or incidents per facility protocol
Maintain resident confidentiality and respect resident rights
Minimal travel to assist sister facilities in the Kansas City area
Qualifications:
Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred
General plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry skills
Knowledge of tools and equipment
NFPA and Life Safety knowledge preferred
