Job Description
We are seeking an Speech Therapist to join our team at True Promise Home Health in Phoenix, AZ.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders required.
- Home health speech therapy experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people.
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
- Must possess the ability to multi-task and complete assignments on time.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Knowledge of best practices for the treatment of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
Duties include:
- Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Treat patients with speech disorders, swallowing therapy, and hearing impairments that affect communication.
- Participate in helping patients that may be recovering from a stroke or other neurological disorders.
- Provide speech therapy sessions to patients in their homes.
