Data Entry Clerk – Production Control
- Location: Mount Pleasant, PA
- Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Temporary Position with the possibility of becoming permanent
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support our Production Control (Scheduling) Department. This position is ideal for someone with strong data entry skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a manufacturing background. Experience with production scheduling is highly preferred.What You'll DoAs a Data Entry Clerk in Production Control, you will play an important role in supporting manufacturing operations by creating, updating, and maintaining production job travelers while coordinating with multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit production job travelers using the ERP system
- Run MRP reports and create Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) job travelers
- Adjust production quantities based on part tiers
- Create BIN tiered jobs ("kit orders") and distribute paperwork to the packaging department
- Communicate professionally with production, warehouse, finishing, and other departments regarding job changes and updates
- Develop an understanding of production scheduling and manufacturing workflow
- Support RDC replenishment by creating production jobs for remote distribution centers
- Deliver, retrieve, and update physical job travelers within the facility as needed
- Maintain accurate production documentation and records
- Perform additional administrative and production support duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Manufacturing experience is highly preferred
- Production scheduling experience is a strong plus
- Experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
