Position Summary
We are seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Production & Shipping Associate to assist our candle production and fulfillment teams during our peak season. This is a hands-on position responsible for helping produce our handcrafted candles while accurately picking, packing, and shipping retail and wholesale orders.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, works well independently and with a team, and enjoys staying busy throughout the day.
Primary Responsibilities
- Pour handcrafted candles while maintaining consistent quality and appearance
- Wick and prepare candle vessels for production
- Pick, pack, and ship wholesale and retail orders accurately and efficiently
- Package products with care to ensure they arrive safely and beautifully to customers
- Shrink wrap products and prepare shipments for carrier pickup
- Help ensure all orders are shipped on schedule
- Maintain organized shipping and production workspaces
- Monitor shipping supply inventory and communicate restocking needs
- Complete daily opening and closing responsibilities
- Work closely with the production and shipping teams to improve efficiency
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude with teammates, supervisors, and shipping carriers
- Be open to coaching, learning, and continuous improvement
Additional Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming supply deliveries
- Assist with general warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Support additional candle-making and production tasks as needed
- Participate in occasional behind-the-scenes photos and videos for social media
- Provide feedback on new fragrances and product development

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable performing repetitive production and packing tasks
- Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, manufacturing, shipping, retail, or production is helpful but not required. We are happy to train the right person who brings a great attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
