Our Young Mazda dealership in Riverdale is seeking a skilled Service Advisor / Service Writer to add to our team. We are a leading automotive dealership committed to providing exceptional service and top-quality vehicles to our customers. The Service Advisor will act as the liaison between customers and our service technicians, ensuring clear communication and outstanding service throughout the repair process. Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival

Writes up customer’s vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair orders

Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications

Refers to service history - inspects vehicle - and recommends additional needed service

Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts

Checks on progress of repair throughout the day and contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time

Explains cost and time requirements in detail and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed

Keeps service department forms - menus and pricing guides up-to-date

Explains completed work and all charges to customers

Implements a quality control process to eliminate comebacks

Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process

Two years of related experience and/or training required
-
History of solid and successful employment with good references
-
Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
-
Prior sales experience helpful
-
Clean driving record
-
Able to pass background check and drug screen
