The Virginian Hotel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently, handling reservations and payments accurately.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experiences.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain front desk operations, including managing multi-line phone systems and ensuring proper phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest services and satisfaction.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
