American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience, apheresis/dialysis expertise, and an active IN or Compact RN license in hand.

Hospital-based Dialysis unit

Patient population includes GVHD, BO, CTCL, and Photopheresis cases

1:1 staffing ratio

Utilizes CellEx apheresis equipment
-
Cerner charting system — experience required
-
Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30)

Rotating call required
-
Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital required

Active IN or Compact RN license currently in hand
-
Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted)

Minimum 3 years of RN experience required

Experience with apheresis equipment or dialysis, and central lines and ports required
-
Plasma Exchange and Red Blood Cell Exchange experience (pre-screening question upon application)

Cerner charting experience required

RN degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited institution required

SSN and DOB required for consideration

2 supervisor references required for consideration

Photopheresis and apheresis procedures are part of the role

Indiana residents are considered local candidates

Current or former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
-
Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health must take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break, both prior to reaching the 12-month mark

Up to 5 days of RTO may be approved

Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
