Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LVN/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population. The LVN/Medical Assistant will assist with various clinical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting healthcare providers during procedures.
- Utilize EMA by Modernizing Medicine software for patient documentation and management.
- Numbing of biopsy / surgery sites.
- Intralesional and intramuscular injections.
- Knowledge and completion of prior authorizations for medications.
- Demonstrate knowledge of physiology to support patient education and care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a LVN/Medical Assistant in a clinical setting is required.
- Familiarity with EMA or similar electronic health record systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective patient interaction.
- Must be able to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating empathy towards patients.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.5 – 40 per week
