From The Heart Home Care is looking for an experienced, dependable PRN Float Caregiver to support clients throughout the Spartanburg region.
This position is ideal for a caregiver with flexible availability who can step in for last-minute call-outs, emergency coverage, vacations, and open shifts. While this is a PRN (as-needed) position, there is potential for additional or full-time hours as cases become available.

What You'll Do
As a PRN Float Caregiver, you'll provide coverage wherever you're needed throughout the Spartanburg service area.
Responsibilities may include:
- Personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
- Safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Wheelchair assistance
- Hoyer lift assistance when required
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Companionship and supervision
- Fall prevention and safety monitoring
- Providing care for a variety of client needs, including total-care cases
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience REQUIRED
- Total-care experience REQUIRED
- Experience with transfers, gait belts, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts preferred
- Must be comfortable accepting last-minute and emergency assignments
- Flexible availability for different shifts and schedules
- Willing to travel throughout Spartanburg and surrounding service areas
- Dependable and reliable—attendance is critical for this position
- Compassionate, patient, confident, and adaptable
- Comfortable working with different clients and levels of care
- Strong communication skills
- Must have your own reliable personal vehicle
- Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other ride-share services do not qualify
- Must be willing to transport clients when required
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required
- Must be a South Carolina resident
- Ability to pass a background check
