Kennel Attendant / Canine Care Technician Kanye Corso Dog Training Methods

About Us
At Kanye Corso Dog Training (Soon to be Raise the Woof: Your Local Dog Therapist), we focus on structured care, safe handling, enrichment, and relationship-based dog training. Our team works with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and behavioral backgrounds — including high-energy, reactive, and working dogs.
We are looking for dependable, hardworking kennel attendants who are passionate about animal care and comfortable working in a fast-paced training and boarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, crates, play yards, and common areas
- Feeding dogs according to individualized schedules and instructions
- Monitoring dog behavior, health, appetite, and stress levels
- Safely handling dogs during potty breaks, rotations, and structured activities
- Assisting trainers with basic obedience reinforcement and kennel routines
- Supervising daycare and socialization groups when appropriate
- Administering medications (if trained)
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility environment
- Reporting behavioral or medical concerns to management immediately
- Providing compassionate, structured care to all dogs in the facility
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation required
- Comfortable working around barking, jumping, and high-energy dogs
- Ability to stand, bend, clean, and lift 50+ pounds throughout shifts
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Comfortable handling large breeds and dogs with behavioral challenges
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
- Previous kennel, daycare, veterinary, rescue, or dog handling experience is a plus but not required

Schedule
