Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Partner serves as a strategic recruiting partner and the primary point of contact for one or more assigned business units, owning full-cycle recruitment from requisition through offer. Partnering closely with hiring managers, this role provides consultative guidance on workforce planning, leverages labor market insights to inform hiring strategy, and delivers a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the dedicated strategic recruiting partner for assigned business unit(s), building strong working relationships with hiring managers and divisional leadership.
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process — intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and close — for assigned requisitions.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, define ideal candidate profiles, set realistic hiring timelines, and coach on structured interviewing and hiring decisions.
- Drive sourcing strategy for active and passive candidates using the ATS, job boards, professional networks, social media, AI-enabled recruiting tools, and direct outreach.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Lead interview coordination and scheduling with hiring teams, providing guidance on structured, consistent interview practices.
- Extend verbal and written offers, and negotiate terms within approved guidelines, escalating exceptions to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Maintain proactive, timely communication with candidates throughout the process, including respectful and professional notification of non-selected candidates.
- Own the development of talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill roles within assigned business unit(s), incorporating workforce planning and labor market insights.
- Partner with community organizations, schools, and workforce programs to widen and diversify candidate pipelines.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate and requisition records in the ATS to support data integrity and reporting.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics and executive-level KPIs (e.g., time to fill, source of hire, pipeline conversion, offer acceptance rate) to the Talent Acquisition Manager and business leadership.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint, acting as a brand ambassador for the organization.
- Prepare accurate offer documentation in coordination with HR, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Support a smooth handoff of new hires from offer acceptance to the HR pre-onboarding process.
- Stay current on employment laws and recruiting best practices relevant to assigned business unit(s).
- Drive continuous process improvement by providing input to the Talent Acquisition Manager on market conditions, labor market intelligence, and sourcing strategy.
- Partner with Marketing and the Talent Acquisition Manager on employer branding initiatives, career fairs, and other talent attraction events.
- Support broader HR and Talent Acquisition initiatives and special projects as assigned.

- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong consultative and relationship-management skills; comfortable acting as a trusted advisor to the business.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Paycor, and other modern recruiting technology, including AI-enabled recruiting tools.
- Working knowledge of recruiting analytics, with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights for hiring managers and leadership.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-based Talent Acquisition function.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition required; experience in construction, engineering, or skilled trades recruiting strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed to support business unit hiring needs, career fairs, and talent attraction events.
