As a Groomer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical skills while helping pets look and feel their best. From breed-specific cuts to comforting nervous pets during their appointments, you will play a huge role in the overall experience we provide. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality grooming services including bathing, brushing, drying, trimming, styling, and nail trims, tailored to each pet’s individual needs
- Safely and compassionately handle dogs and cats while ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process
- Build trusting relationships with pets and communicate professionally with pet parents regarding grooming recommendations, aftercare, and special requests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming space that reflects our high standards of care
- Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive, supportive, and efficient environment
- Monitor pets for any health or behavioral concerns and communicate observations appropriately
- Uphold the values and reputation of Aloha Pet Resort and Spa through professionalism, reliability, and exceptional customer service
- You must have your own grooming tools and responsible for maintaining them for safety.
Qualifications
- Previous professional grooming experience of at least 1 year
- Strong knowledge of animal handling, grooming techniques, breed-specific cuts, and coat maintenance
- Ability to safely handle and restrain pets with patience and compassion
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
- Dependable, motivated, and eager to continue learning and growing
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift pets or equipment as needed
- Passion for animal care and commitment to providing an outstanding experience for every guest

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
