Tool Pusher (Rig Supervisor)
TOPCAT Well Services Longview, TX Full-Time, Field-Based
RUN YOUR RIG. LEAD YOUR CREW.
We're hiring an experienced Tool Pusher to take full ownership of a workover rig and the crews that run it — setting the pace on safety, productivity, and quality, in the field with your crews and face to face with our customers. If you know a workover rig from the ground up and people follow you because you've earned it, we want to talk. We offer above market pay for the right person.

- Perform BOP inspections and testing; check brake systems and confirm functionality
- Troubleshoot rig mechanics, run worn-equipment recognition checks, and submit maintenance requests
- Operate the power swivel, crown and ground saver, and tongs; calculate torque specs accurately
- Pull and lay down rods, tubing, and casing; assist with racking rod and tubing
- Complete and turn in field tickets on time; support HSE, DOT, and component inspection documentation
- Attend and lead all required training and safety meetings
- Step into rig operator, floor hand, or derrick hand duties whenever the job calls for it
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5–8 years of experience on a well servicing rig (preferred)
- Working knowledge of every part on a workover rig, with the ability to troubleshoot the rig and on-site equipment
- Familiarity with pump and tank operations
- Valid state-issued driver's license — CDL or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass a drug screen and a company-administered driving test, and to submit to all ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Strong communication and leadership skills; basic math including ratios, rates, and percentages
