Kleiss Gears, Inc. (a Victrex Company) is a precision injection molding site focused on high-performance polymers and tight-tolerance components. Operating 24/5, the site supports demanding applications where process stability and product quality are critical.
Role Description
We are hiring an Injection Mold Technician to support overnight production operations. This role is responsible for machine setup, process control, and troubleshooting to ensure consistent output and quality.
This is a third-shift position (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday–Friday).
Key Responsibilities
· Set up injection molding machines, tooling, and auxiliary equipment
· Execute machine start-ups including program loading and first-piece samples
· Monitor and adjust processes to maintain stability and output
· Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
· Perform first-line maintenance and support preventative maintenance routines
· Conduct quality checks and stop production when nonconformance is identified
· Support basic machine operator functions, including material handling and packaging
Required Qualifications
· Prior experience as an Injection Mold Technician or Set-Up Technician (required)
· Demonstrated experience performing machine setups, start-ups, and troubleshooting
· Ability to operate independently in an off-shift environment
· Experience working to production schedules in a manufacturing setting
