Overview:
As a Team Member at CR Sustainability, you will play a critical role in supporting Dodgers Stadium sustainability efforts. This part-time position focuses exclusively on sorting waste materials, ensuring proper segregation of garbage, recyclables, and compostable materials. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking part-time hours and additional income.
Duties:
- Stand for the duration of the shift, actively sorting waste materials into designated categories.
- Sort all waste, ensuring proper segregation of trash, recyclables, and compost materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Perform thorough cleaning of the sorting area and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet sorting efficiency goals.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends during morning, day, night, or overnight shift, as determined by client events.
- Must be able to repetitively lift 1-75 lbs., push/pull up to 500 lbs., and stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Current forklift certification preferred. Alternatively, willingness to receive forklift certification required.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, self-motivation, and reliability.
- Ability to work well with others and represent CR Sustainability in a professional manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to varying waste flow rates.
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Proficiency in sending emails, text messages, and picture messages via company cell phone.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand spoken English preferred for entry-level positions and required for advancement opportunities.
Pay: $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 – 29.0 per week
